Acme has tried to do our part by being a pioneer in offering Biodiesel at our Lilly Rd site since 2004. Also, in the Fall of 2009, we installed high efficiency LED lighting at both of our stations. This resulted in an over 50% reduction in our electricity usage! We are constantly looking for ways to improve efficiency and offer products and services that are environmentally responsible.
Acme offers e-statements in lieu of paper statements. We are also in the process of updating the computers on our trucks to use one part thermal printer paper instead of the three part forms we currently use. All of this helps reduce waste and cost, and improves our efficiency and offerings to our customers.
