Furnace Oil
(Sometimes called #2 heating oil.) Acme starts with top-quality furnace
oil ands enriches it with an additive from GE-Betz (a division of General
Electric) that cleans your burner, prevents cold-weather gelling, absorbs
water and kills bacteria. Acme's furnace oil assures that your burner operates as cleanly and efficiently as it can.
Stove Oil
Acme's stove oil is actually highly refined dyed #1 kerosene, to meet the requirements of new high-tech Toyotomi and Monitor heaters and make older type pot burners burn more cleanly.
Biodiesel
Heating Fuel
Is 80% top-quality low sulfur furnace oil and 20% pure soy-based biodiesel-no recycled cooking oils or animal fats. The biodiesel is certified to meet the tough ASTM (American Society of Testing Engineers)specification 6751, which is the recognized standard for biodiesel fuel.
Burning biodiesel heating fuel is better for the environment than burning
regular furnace oil, cuts dependence on mideast oil, helps America's
farmers and our nation's balance of payments.
Propane
Acme sells only clean, top-spec. propane, delivered by careful drivers who
have been trained to handle propane gas safely. The odorant (a smell that is added to the propane to help detect leaks) is checked on each delivery for your safety.
